Queen Victoria’s Funeral (1901). A Day that Shook the World. Queen Victoria’s Funeral was one of the earliest events recorded by British Pathe. After 63 years on the throne, Victoria died at the age of 81 at Osborne House on The Isle of Wight. Her military state funeral was held on Saturday 2 February 1901 in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. John Humphrys narrates.
